Our Story

Born from love, fear, and the bond that never breaks

“All I could think was: I'm not ready to lose him.”

In September 2025, my dog was diagnosed with histiocytic sarcoma. Hearing the diagnosis was one of the most frightening moments of my life. All I could think was: I'm not ready to lose him.

He went through two surgeries and five cycles of chemotherapy. Those months were filled with worry, waiting for test results, and hoping every treatment would give him more time. Thankfully, he made it through, and today he is cancer-free. We still go for regular checkups, X-rays, and ultrasounds, because with this kind of cancer we never truly know what the future holds.

That experience changed the way I think about the bond between people and their pets. They aren't just animals who share our homes — they are family. They walk beside us through our everyday lives, through our happiest moments and our hardest days. The thought of losing them is something many of us are not prepared for.

During that time, I often thought about the people who had already lost their beloved pets. I know how quiet and empty life can suddenly feel without them. I wanted to create something small that could offer even a little comfort during that kind of grief.

That is why I created Letters From Stars.

Here, you can receive a gentle letter written as if it were from your pet — a message of love, reassurance, and gratitude for the life you shared together. A reminder that the bond you had was real, meaningful, and will always remain part of you.

Nothing can ever replace the pets we love. But sometimes, a few kind words can help soften the silence.

If you are missing a pet, I hope the letters here bring you a small moment of comfort — and remind you that the love between you and your pet never truly disappears.
