The letters delivered by Letters From Stars are composed using artificial intelligence (AI). They are not written by humans, and they are not communications from your pet. The letters are generated based on information you provide — your pet's name, type, and passing date — and are intended solely as a source of comfort and remembrance.
Similarly, any photo portraits included with letters are AI-generated images. They are creative interpretations, not photographs of your pet, and may not resemble your pet.
We believe in being transparent about this. Letters From Stars is a creative memorial service, and our goal is simply to bring comfort — not to mislead.
Letters From Stars is a pet memorial letter service that delivers AI-composed letters written in your pet's voice. Letters are sent on the anniversary of your pet's passing and, depending on your plan, monthly throughout the year.
The service is intended for personal, non-commercial use as a form of grief support and remembrance. It is not a substitute for professional grief counselling.
Paid plans (VIP and VVIP) are billed annually. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect immediately — you will not receive further letters after cancellation, and no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry automatically. If all retries fail, your subscription will be cancelled and your account will revert to the Free plan.
When you upload a photo of your pet, it is stored securely and used solely for generating portrait images included in your letters. We do not share, sell, or use your photos for any other purpose.
You retain ownership of any photos you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to use the image for the purpose of generating your letters.
We collect your email address, pet information, and payment details (via Stripe) to operate the service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your email may be used to send your letters and occasional service notifications. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard, which permanently removes all your data.
Letters From Stars is provided "as is". We make no guarantees about the emotional impact of the letters, and we are not liable for any distress arising from use of the service.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time. In the event of discontinuation, we will provide reasonable notice and cease billing.
